STOCKROOM COORDINATOR

The ECE stockroom coordinator will have responsibility of coordinating lab services and research experiments to accomplish educational goals as well as manage the operation of the ECE Stockroom. The coordinator will develop consistent and effective financial management systems, implement and maintain policies and procedures for the ISO to comply with all appropriate University business regulations for business units including appropriate procedures for external sales. Analyze financial data to determine current status, need for budget changes and spending/revenue patterns in order to determine internal rates. Implement safety training and procedures for research laboratories.

FACULTY POSITIONS IN ELECTRICAL AND COMPUTER ENGINEERING
University of Minnesota, Minneapolis

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities invites applications and nominations for faculty positions with research specializations in identified strategic areas of bio, energy and nano. The candidate is expected to have demonstrated research expertise in an identified strategic area  and have competency in at least one of the core areas of the Electrical and Computer Engineering department (Computer Engineering, Fields and photonics, Systems and Control, Microelectronics, Signal Processing and Communications and Energy Systems and Power Electronics).

Applicants with interdisciplinary interests in research and teaching  are particularly encouraged. Positions are expected to be at the rank of assistant professor.  However, exceptional candidates at all ranks in all core areas and research areas of strategic need are invited to apply.  We are especially interested in receiving applications from women and members of other underrepresented groups.

Successful candidates will have outstanding academic and research records and are expected to establish a vigorous funded research program, teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and be involved in service to the university and the profession. An earned doctorate in an appropriate discipline is required at the time of the appointment.  Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
