Welcome to the homepage of the Multiscale Signal Processing group, a division
of the Signal Processing group in
the
Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering,
the
University of Minnesota at Twin Cities.
Our research consists of developing and applying multiscale signal processing
techniques and wavelets in the design of high quality interactive audio,
image and video multimedia databases and coders, optimal data acquisition
schemes for radar, magnetic resonance and ultrasound imaging, stochastic
resonance, solitons for local area communications and high resolution image
synthesis and industrial measurements.
