Welcome
to the website for the biomedical Micro and Nano Systems Laboratory
of University of Minnesota. If you can not see the above navigation

Our
research interests are primarily in the areas of biomedical
micro- and nano-systems. These include solid-state sensors and
actuators, and micro/nano fabrication technologies for biomedical
applications (BioMEMS & BioNEMS).In particular, we are interested
in various diagnostic, therapeutic, and rehabilitative microsystems
incorporating MEMS and Nano components.
Some
of these systems include: implantable drug delivery systems, neural
prosthetic devices, microfluidics for DNA and protein analysis, imaging,
microscopy, implantable MEMS based power sources, and ultra-sensitive
chemical and biological sensors.
Our
lab is located at room 6-132 of the Electrical Engineering Building
which is also the home of the University
of Minnesota Nano Fabrication Center where we carry out
the fabrication of our devices. In order to contact us, please
