There are thousands of things we might say about Otto that many of you know. What we would like are your personal comments about his effect on your life or interests, and the insight you might shed on the unique value of his way of thinking, and more importantly, his purpose in choosing what to think about.

His chief hope was to engender expansion of awareness among all people and the restoration of better thought processes among school-age children, to open the mental-emotional doors he used routinely. Those he saw as the best opportunity of any society to involve itself at its highest level, to secure of the most beneficial and personally satisfying future.

In the great Otto Schmitt tradition, here are some ideas to steal. Please notify the Schmitt Foundation if you are interested in using any of these ideas.
